Marco Polo is a comfortable ship with a classic profile and an ice strengthened hull. There are a wide range of spacious public rooms with tasteful décor. Marco Polo is a child-free ship (over 16s only). Marco Polo passengers tend to be 45+ and British. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 27.6 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.2 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 27.6 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2.2 passengers.
Following the great success of many guest acts from the field of comedy Cruise & Maritime Voyages are launching ‘A Laugh on the Ocean Waves’ where, on selected cruises, you are invited to enjoy the talents of one of their guest comedians. Laughter is the best medicine so enjoy the talents of their comedy acts with their dedicated evening shows, hear them talk about their life experience and listen to their Comedy Corner interviews with the Cruise Director.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages operate an automatic tipping system whereby an amount of £5 per person per night, which will be distributed to your cabin stewards and restaurant personnel, will be debited to your shipboard account daily. For cruises greater than 16 nights, the amount is £4 per person per night. On the last day of your cruise, you will have the opportunity to adjust the amount to be charged to your account in order to reflect the level of your satisfaction. This can be done by contacting the Reception Desk.

Beautifully appointed, the Jade Wellness Centre is perfect if you want a spot of relaxation. If you want something more active the swimming pool is a great place to start, especially as it has fantastic views overlooking the ocean.

With Arts and Crafts growing in popularity, Cruise & Maritime are including sessions on all CMV cruises of five nights or more. Specialists will be delighted to demonstrate their talents replicating many of the growing number of new crafting skills now witnessed on dedicated TV channels. These may include millinery, bead jewellery, mosaic decoration, calligraphy and decorative card art. You may need to buy materials on board which will be supplied by the crafter for a modest charge.
An Audience With...
On selected cruises Cruise & Maritime feature the light hearted ‘Audience With …’ where you are invited to listen to an invited guest speaker or performer talk about their life experience and expert knowledge interspersed with questions from you, the audience. This offers you a great chance to become involved and be a part of the fun.
